1. This memorandum is in response to Chairman, SECOM's
request for members views on reissuing the revised DCID 1/7 at
the Confidential level.
2. It is clear from a review of the document that it is
appropriately classified in the aggregate as Confidential. The
document, in specifying methods of control, marking, release
and abbreviations used to identify certain categories of
material should be limited to those who hold clearances for
this information. Although the items are individually
unclassified, combined they reveal a system and methods that,
if disclosed, would provide vulnerability data.
