Summary of Decisions
The Deputy Director of Central Intelligence, Mr. John N. McMahon, agreed
that the date for submission of new National Intelligence Topics (NITs) should
The DDCI further agreed that the distinction between six- and twelve-month
NITs (A and B) should be abolished. 25X1
Mr. McMahon also agreed to accept the invitation of Mr. Richard T.
Childress of the National Security Council staff to brief the analytic
community on the POW/MIA issue.
