forwarding a report on certain Agency activities undertaken
during fiscal year 1984 pursuant to Executive Order 12333
and its implementing procedures. I would ask that you
continue to send us this report each time it is prepared in
accordance with your agreement with the House Permanent
Select Committee. Our counsels are studying the report
and will bring any follow-up questions to the attention
of your staff.

Enclosed for your information is a report addressing
certain Agency activities undertaken during FY 84 pursuant
to the authority of Executive Order 12333 and its implementing
procedure.
This report was prepared in response to an April 1984
agreement reached with the House Permanent Select Committee
on Intelligence which requires the Agency to submit an annual
written report describing certain activities governed by
Executive Order 12333. The format of the enclosed report is
based on the requirements set forth in the above House
Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence agreement.
