Commander, JSOC

Dear Carl,
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed, appreciated and was impressed by
the program you laid on last Friday. It was beautifully thought out and
conducted and your men were invariably impressive.
The whole effort has come a very long way in scope, creativity and
execution since my visit to Fort Bragg in 1981. It was very gratifying to
see that.
We are thinking of working here to develop capabilities which can
complement what you are doing and vice versa. This is true in technology,
in developing personnel and skills, and in technical and other research and
development. I am going to see what we can do here to foster that synergism.
Thanks again. I walked off with the red badge and enclose it herewith.
With warm regards.
Yours,
MR. CASEY
