SUBJECT Defense Attache Official Visits to CIA
1. The purpose of this memorandum is to request that the DCI
~
authority outlined in ~ be used to host three luncheons each
25X1 1
year in the Executive Dining Room for military attache classes
from the Defense Intelligence School. These luncheons will take
place during their one day official ,visit to CIA Headquarters.
As in FY-84, our plan is to have about 20 DO officers with
appropriate area involvement act as "hosts" for the 30-40 attaches
in each class that will be visiting here. These officers range in
rank from Captain to Brigadier General. The cost of each luncheon
will be approximately $600 for an annual total of $1800. The
first attache visit for FY-86 is scheduled to take place on
8 November.
