C. 20505 July 22, 1985 ROOM H-105, U.S. CAPITOL (202) 225-4121 Executive Registry 65-2803 Dear Mr. Casey: This is to advise you that the Honorable Andy Ireland, a Member of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, will be accompanying Members and staff of the Select Committee on Narcotics Abuse and Control on an official travel mission to Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil and Argentina during the period August 3 through 19, 1985. Mr. Ireland will travel under the auspices of the Speaker of the House in accordance with his letter to the Secretary of State dated March 7, 1985. Expenditure of funds for the payment of such expenses as may be required is authorized by Section 1314 of the Supplemental Appropriations Act of 1954 (31 U.S.C. 22A). Due to the excessive costs in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Argentina, a subsistence allowance is authorized according to Department of State regulations.
