This is to advise you that I will be heading an official study mission to
El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica during the period April 12
through 15, 1985. The delegation will travel under the auspices of the
Speaker of the House in accordance with his letter to the Secretary of State
dated March 7, 1985.

Expenditure of funds for the payment of such expenses as may be required
is authorized by Section 1314 of the Supplemental Appropriations Act of 1954
(31 U.S.C. 22A).
A list of Members and staff in the delegation is attached. This list may
be revised later. If you have any questions concerning this travel, please
