MEMORANDUM FOR: The Honorable Lee H. Hamilton
Chairman, House Permanent Select Committee on
Intelligence
SUBJECT: Clearance Access for Member of House Permanent
Select Committee on Intelligence
1. This is in response to your letter dated 11 April 1985
and pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding, dated 7
September 1977, between the House Permanent Select Committee on
Intelligence and this Agency. I have reviewed the summary
memorandum and supporting material on Ms. Diane S. Dornan, as
supplied to the Committee by the Director of the Federal Bureau
of Investigation. I believe that Ms. Dornan does meet the
requirements of Executive Order 10450 for access to classified
information up to and including TOP SECRET. I believe she also
meets the criteria for access to
Intelligence Directive No. 1/14, dated 1 September 1983.
