Dear Mr. Chairman:
Thank you for your 20 February 1985 letter requesting
clearances for Mr. Ronald P. Kelly.
As discussed with Ms. Chris Dauth of your staff, we cannot
process the request for Mr. Kelly until he has an updated
background investigation. The investigation must be within the
past five years, and Mr. Kelly's is dated 1973. Ms. Dauth
advised that Mr. Kelly will request an update, and as soon as
that is completed, we will process him for these clearances.
