On Tuesday, 19 February, C/ACIS/DDI, briefed
the Senate Arms Control Observer GroS~p on compliance issues.
2. Briefing of SASC on Soviet Strategic Developments
On Tuesday, 19 February, Larry Gershwin, NIO/SP, along with
NIC and DI representatives, briefed the SASC on Soviet strategic
developments and trends.
3. Briefing of SSCI Member Mitch McConnell
On Tuesday, 19 February, D/OLL briefed Senator fcConnell and
an SSCI staffer on the CIA.
4. Briefing of SASC on Arms Control Compliance
On Wednesday, 20 February, C/ACIS/DDI, briefed
the SASC, along with DoD and ACDA, on the Administrative Arms
Control Compliance Report.

Military Trends as related to arms control.
6. OTS Briefing for SSCI Member Cohen
On Friday, 22 February, Senator Cohen and an SSCI
staffer were briefed on OTS.

1. DO Briefing for Representative Kastenmeier
On Monday, 25 February, at 10:00 the DDO will brief
Representative Robert Kastenmeier on the DO.
2. Lunch with SSCI Member Leahy
On Monday, 25 February, at 12:00 the DDCI will host a
lunch with Senator Patrick Leahy in the Director's Dining
Room.
3. HAC Defense Subcommittee Worldwide Briefing
On Tuesday, 26 February, at 10:00 DCI, NIOs, and D/OLL
are scheduled to brief the HAC Defense Subcommittee.
4. SSCI Briefing on Central America
On Tuesday, 26 February, Robert Gates, DDI, and
Ambassador Motley, State, will brief the SSCI on Central
America.
S. SGAC Hearing on Security Programs
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 26, 27, and 28
February at 10:00 D/OS/DDA will attend a hearing of the
Senate Governmental Affairs Committee, Permanent
Subcommittee on Investigations, on security programs.

On Wednesday, 27 February, at 9:00 DCI, DDCI, D/ICS, and DD/OLL
will attend HPSCI Subcommittee on Program and Budget Authorization
hearing on Overview of FY86 NFIP.
7. SSCI Hearing on FY86 CIAP
On Wednesday, 27 February at 10:00 EXDIR, DDA, DDI, DDS&T, DDO,
Comptroller, and D/OLL will attend a SSCI hearing on FY86 CIAP.
8. Briefing of HFA Subcommittee on Asian and Pacific Affairs
On Wednesday, 27 February, at 10:00 DI/NESA,
will brief the HFA Subcommittee on Asian and Pacific Affairs on
Pakistan.
9. SAC Defense Subcommittee Hearing on NFIP
On Thursday, 28 February, at 10:00 DCI and D/ICS will attend
NFIP overview hearing with General Williams, DIA; General Faurer,
NSA; and SAF/SS.
10. Courtesy Calls on SSCI and HPSCI Members
On Monday, 25 February, at 9:30 ADCI and D/OLL will pay a
courtesy call on Representative George Brown.
