SUBJECT: Meeting on Warning (U)
1. The IIWG/NP will meet to discuss warning-related matters at
1330 hours on Wednesday, 23 June 1982, in Room 7E32 CIA Headquarters.
2. The following topics will be discussed:
--Pakistan. Progress in weapons-related work and
materials acquisition
--India. Status of nuclear test preparations and
a current assessment of the political incentives/
disincentives to move ahead with a test explosion.
--Arentina. Recent information suggesting any
s its in goals for the Argentine nuclear program,
specifically incentives that might exist in the
aftermath of the Falklands conflict to develop
and acquire nuclear weapons; regional implications.
Members are also invited to raise other topics at the meeting for dis-
cussion.
3. DCID 1/2 Priorities. Representatives also are requested to
review the current DCID 1/2 priorities for the nuclear proliferation
subcategory. Proposals for any downward revisions should be tabled
at the meeting.
