SUBJECT: Draft SNIE 29.1-85: Greece: Implications of the
Elections for US-Gree a ations
1. We have had to do some readjustments on this estimate because of
Papandreou's surprise move regarding Karamanlis, but we are endeavoring
to get it out about a month ahead of the Greek election. Although we
realize this draft can use some polishing, we are sending it to you now
so that we may start what will probably be a contentious interagency
coordination process as soon as possible.
2. We would appreciate receiving your comments by COB Tuesday, 16
April 1985.
