I was delighted to learn that you will be able to
participate in our conference on "Europe in the Eighties." The
meetings will be held in the Department of State on Thursday
and Friday, 5 and 6 April.
You will note from the attached conference agenda that the
panel in which you will be participating will run from 2:00 to
4:00 on Friday, 6 April, but we hope that you will be able to
be present for the other sessions as well.
As we move closer toward the date of the meeting, the
Department will be in touch with you on adminstrative
arrangements.
