Harry,
The party for Dick Lehman.
Next Tuesday afternoon, 22 June, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Our* best
guess is that it will be held downstairs in the North Cafeteria. The
magic number is 130 people: over that amount, parties are held in
the Cafeteria; under that number in the Executive Dining Room. At
this moment we have 112 RSVP's, but there traditionally are a batch
which come in the last day or so.
The (brief) program, beginning sharply at 6:00 p.m.:
1. DCI will present Dick the DIM.
2. Presentation of gift to Dick (will be a leather
attache case).
3. will make brief tribute re Dick and
Studies in Intelligence.
4. HPF will present Dick a couple of funnies.
5. (That's all the program; drinking, etc., continue
on.)
Queries: Harry, do you want to be the M.C.? If so, fine; if not,
I will.
In any case, would you like to make the presentation of the gift
(and whatever remarks) to Dick?
