SUBJECT: PerSSub Meeting, 13 April 1982
STAT
1. At the 24 Mar 1982 SECOM meeting, announced that the STAT
Personnel Security Subcommittee (PerSSub) had replaced the Investigative
Standards Working Group. Our first meeting ~~ill be held at the Intelligence
Community Building on 13 Apr 1982 (Agenda attached). Please bring with
you a typed listing of your complete mailing address, telephone :::muer~
and similar data on a selected alternate member. This will be used to
compile a PerSSub Directory. Additionally, I would appreciate your
bringing a tasking memo specifying those projects that you would like our
subcommittee to address. I asked SECOM members on 24 Mar to provide you
with input in this area. You may, therefore, want to check with your
principal before preparing your tasking memo. Please take into account
PerSSub budgetary needs for FY84 in your considerations.
2. As you can see from our Agenda, we have a lot of business to
address in our first meeting so we have reserved a room for three hours.
Of particular interest will be the Personnel Security Standards for Access
to Intelligence, Draft ~E1, distributed at the last ISWG meeting. We
shall try to reach agreement on a draft that we can recommend to the
SECOM.
