agencies as outlined in my memorandum (T4/084/79, dated 7 March), by the
1. Pursuant to your general wishes as expressed at the 22 March
meeting, I requested guidance-from the Chairman of the Security Committee
and from the full Security Committee at the 11 April meeting of the
Security Committee.
2. It was the opinion of both the Chairman of the Security Committee
and the full committee that the Computer Security Subcommittee should
pursue modification of DCID 1/11 to cover computers used in communicating
classified intelligence information. This was done with full recognition
of the fact that computer security of computers used in communications
had been a defacto concern of the-former COMSEC board.
