MEMORANDUM FOR: Compartmentation Subcommittee Members SUBJECT: Compartmentation Subcommittee Meeting 1. The Compartmentation Subcommittee will meet at 1000, 4 Sep 84, in Room 4B867, the Pentagon. 2. Please be prepared to discuss these matters: a. 'Whether or not DCID 1/19, para 33, requires a change in light of an American Airlines letter, 16 May 84, regarding couriering of classified material aboard commercial aircraft (Atch 1). b. Another review of DCID 1/19 concerning ",reader sheets". The subcommittee recommended no change at its 6 Jul 34 meeting and this was reported to SECOM on 26 Jul 84. Evidently, the SECOM Chairman believes a change is warranted (Atch 2) and we should, therefore, develop an appropriate proposal for offering at the next SFC(~M meeting on 12 Sep 84. 3. Please 'ft present in writing, your recommendations for each of the above, and have them available for our 4 Sep 84 meeting. Your interest and cooperation are appreciated. 2.
