Dear Mr. Wolf:
The Security Committee's Physical Security Working Group is planning the
4th in its series of Intelligence Community Physical Security Seminars during
the week 20-24 August 19841 ~ STAT
These seminars are intended to bring physical security officers together STAT
o share knowledge and experience and to seek common application of physical
security policies.
Mr. Don Ness from your organization previously spoke at the seminars on
the subject of Systems for Denying Access and arranged for followup tours at
your American Embassy - Fullerton. These presentations have been regarded as
very appropriate and highlights of our seminars.
We invite you to conduct the briefing formerly presented by Mr. Ness at
our next seminar. That briefing has been scheduled for 1015 to 1115 on
Friday, 24 August. Also, we request that you direct the followup tour at
Fullerton which has been scheduled for 1400 to 1515 on Friday afternoon.
Instructions are attached to this letter. Mr. Tom Thounhurst, STAT
the Department of state mem er of our Physical Security Working Group later
will provide you a full seminar schedule. We invite you to attend any
additional presentations you may find interesting and you are encouraged to
remain after normally scheduled events for informal discussions with the
participants if possible.
