Though some weeks have passed since my visit to I
nevertheless want to write to thank you for an in eres ing
and agreeable day. Of course, you made me very jealous of
your ability to provide ideal circumstances for training,
but I guess I can survive that. During the course of some
of our recent financial reviews, I discovered that we pay
almost $2 million for "off-site" training--trying to provide
the kinds of unobstructed training conditions which you
have. If you ever hear of a small campus nearby, let me
know.
I was pleased, too, to meet) _ (whom I found quite
impressive. I have run into him a couple of times since and
found it helpful to have had the occasion to have chatted
with him I was impressed with Ted and hope he
will make the list of your people who come to next year's
Executive Seminar. I think our group will be an unusually
good one.
Again, thanks for all the assistance--the transportation,
lunch, and fascinating description of your courses.
