SUBJECT: Contributions to Executive Development
Core Course No. 3
1. The Executive Development Staff, Office of Training and
Education, conducted Executive 1~evelopment Core Course No. 3,
19 February - 1 March 1985, for newly promoted SIS-Ol officers.
The second week of the Course was a seminar on terrorism as an
Agency and Intelligence Corrgnunity issue. Several managers and
senior analysts from your office shared organizational
approaches, interactions, trends, concerns, successes and
failures experienced in dealing with the terrorism problem.
Their presentations were very informative and well-received. If
it was not already perceived by the Course participants, it
became apparent during the discussions that terrorism is a non-
conventional and hard target for intelligence collection and
analysis.
