Dear General Stiner:
Recently, several officers from your Command provided a
briefing about the operations of the units which comprise the
Joint Special Operations Command to a class of newly promoted
Agency Senior Intelligence Service Officers. The class was
participating in a seminar on "Countering Terrorism as an Agency
and Community Issue." The presentations enabled the
participants to gain an excellent perception on the role of the
military in countering terrorism and particularly the
capabilities of your Command. This fitted quite well into
subsequent discussions of the U.S. policy options and
coordination of activities with the other Community members in
this sphere of action.
I want to thank you very much for making this briefing
