Dear Mr. Gregg:
Thank you for accepting the invitation to address the
Career Trainee Development Course, the Agency's orientation
course for junior professionals. The 28 students in this
class are destined for various assignments with almost half
going into operations.
We have provisionally entitled your talk "CIA Goals and
Values," and envision it as a bridge between the Career
Trainees' orientation course and their careers with the Agency.
They will go to their first provisional assignment on the
Monday following your talk. You may want to comment on such
things as the Agency's culture, how it got to be the organization
it is, the political forces that have modified its direction,
what its values are, and what Career Trainees have to look
forward to as Agency professionals.
Your presentation is scheduled for Friday, 22 March 1985,
from 1300-1430 hours in Room 912, Chamber of Commerce Building.
Someone from our staff will greet you at the second floor
receptionist area when you arrive. Should you need parking,
we have reserved spaces 54W and 55W in the student lot adjacent
to the building.
