As indicated in the attached
messages, the first of our two
projected units in Buro the
Press Monitoring Unit 25X1
has now been approved by the U.S.
Ambassador to Belgium. This
means all ARency and State Dept.
approvals are in and 25X1
we can begin establishment. At
the next FBIS Biweekly with the
DDS$T, we'll demonstrate how to
utilize foreign data bases at
such an installation. We are
also in touch with Rome regard-
ing the establishment of the
unit in Milan. Both are one-
person units, included in the
FY 85 budget.
