SUBJECT: Communication with Contractors During the Automation
Competition
1. The Automation RFP has recently been released to over 20
potential contractors.
2. We anticipate an intense competition for this program. I
therefore caution you not to hold discussions with contractors regarding
FBIS functions or automation requirements. Discussions with contractors
currently in house are to be limited to the scope of work the contractor
is performing. To further insure that FBIS presents a uniform and
consistent approach with respect to queries regarding Automation ou
should direct all inquiries to the Contracting Officer, at STAT
This constraint shall apply until the contract is awarded.
