SUBJECT: Tracor Terminal
We understand that seven Tracor model 8000 terminals are
going to be procured for evaluation. Since these terminals are
prototype equipment and have not been TEMPEST certified, we
recommend against using these terminals to process classified
information. We have been told that the terminals were designed
to TEMPEST criteria; however the terminals have not been fully
tested. An evaluation should be completed in a few months, and
we will inform you of any required TEMPEST modifications after
the evaluation.
