Senator Lugar told a Capitol Hill news conference today, Inman had maintained a positive rapport with Congress. SEN. RICHARD LUGAR: My fears for the future come, of course, from Admiral Inman's resignation and the need now to make certain that whoever his successor or successors might be, has the same confidence in the Congress.
