CLAIRE CARTER: Anyone who names the name of a US spy or
reveals classified CIA information will be treated as a criminal
from now on. And President Reagan makes that official today at
CIA headquarters.
The President is signing a bill that slaps fines and
prison terms on people like journalists or government workers who
identify CIA agents, even if their names are already in public
records.
