Moynihan Thinks CIA Trying Oust Nicaraguan Government
JACKSON GAIN: Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan thinks
the CIA may be illegally trying to topple the government of
Nicaragua. Moynihan, vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence
Committee, says the situation in Nicaragua is coming to a crisis.
He wants to call top Reagan administration officials to testify
about the extent of American involvement in that country.
