Time Magazine/CIA Involvement
CHRIS WALLACE: There's a new report on how the Reagan
campaign got information from the Carter White House in 1980.
According to Time magazine, CIA Director William Casey, who was
then the Reagan campaign manager, used former CIA and FBI agents
to gather intelligence from active agents. The information was
then passed on to the Reagan campaign.
Casey denied the Time report, saying, quote, "I don't
think it ever happened."
