NP06>NICARAGUA/CIA>BROKAW:_ There is dissension tonight in the CIA. It
>MANUAL>involves several midlevel officials who were disciplined
in connection with that CIA manual. The manual said that
officials of the Nicaraguan government should be
neutralized or killed. The CIA officials have protested
that they have been made scapegoats to protect senior
employees of the intelligence agency. A total of six
officials were punished.. Several now are refusing to send
letters of reprimand that are going into their personal
files.
