'INVESTIGATION/>BROKAW: The CIA has asked the Federal
>CIA>Communications Commission to punish ABC News for a story
it broadcast about the intelligence agency. A part of
that story could not be confirmed, and ABC acknowledged
that. Nonetheless, the CIA wanted the FCC to order a full
retraction and to consider this ease when considering
licenses for stations owned by ABC. Well today, the FCC
staff turned down the request of the CIA.
