THE INTENTION OF THIS RELEASE IS TO ALERT THE AMi_,.RICAN AND IRANIAN PEOPLES IN TIME TO PREVENT A CIA?`PENTAGON O11(,:L ATION OPPOSED BY I OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF AMERICAN AND IRANIAN CITIZENS. 1) On September 11, 1978, President Carter personally ph(oied the S)iah.to state that the U.
