I did not know that there was any problem in Stanley
Tretick selling some of his CIA pictures overseas?
It is standard procedure that once a story has ap-
peared in Time, the photographer is allowed to sell material
overseas. This has been our policy for years.
I am sorry if it has caused you any problems. Had we
discussed it in advance, this would not have been a problem.
