`uas Faces Are .Led;'
Says Worker Editor
C
Our faces are red," the
editor of the Communist
:;ewspaper, The Worker, said
ye,tcr day.
The editor, Carl Winter,
said there had been "an un-
fortunate misstatement" in
a notice saying "the last
issue of The Worker will be'
Tuesday, June 25."
Yesterday's issue won't be
the last, he said. The Worker
won't appear next Sunday,
and probably won't publish
July 2 and 7 because of
"technical problems" input-
ting out a preview edition of
the long-heralded successor,
Daily World, he said. But it
will probably resume twice-
I a-week publication July 9 and
for awhile thereafter.
The Worker has been print-
1.1119 15,000 copies for its Tues-
day and Sunday issues. The
Daily World is to put out a
24-page edition dated July 4,
running off 50,000 copies in
daily publication has been de-
layed until later in July.
