SUBJECT Public Presentation - New London, Connecticut
As indicated in the attached letter, I have been requested
to speak to the New England Security Seminar at the Naval
Underwater Systems Center in New London, Connecticut. I plan
to accept. The address to this group will be the same as
presented to the Classification and Management Society in San
Diego during July. That address was titled, "The Year CIA
went Public--The Impact of FOIA and Privacy on an Intelligence
Agency." This address outlines the problems and reaction to
these legislative imperatives against the background and public
opinion about CIA generated from the Rockefeller Report, and
the House and Senate investigations.
