INTELLIGENCE COLLECTION: Director of Centralintelligence Stansfield Turner says the
U.S. is "in a peak now" in terms of numbers of technical intelligence collection sys-
tems systems--photo-taking satellites and aircraft and signals intelligence devices.
Speaking at a meeting last week of the Overseas Writers' club in Washington, he said ;
the situation is similar to the military aircraft acquisition process, which is also
peaking. i
