$2 Million. Suit Filed Against : Uris
LOS ANGELES (AP)-Novelist Leon Uris has been sued
for $2 million by a -French writer who says he wrote the
V original manuscript of Uris's bestseller

Phillippe de Vosjoli, who filed the suit
"yesterday in Superior Court, said he as-
signed his manuscript-"Le Roseau To-
pazo"-to Uris in May 1965 with the
agreement they would split the profits.
The complaint contends Uris and his
agent, Herbert Schlosberg, received prof-
its from the novel without sharing them
with De Vosjoli who now lives in Miami.
