Marshall will portray the head of the Central t Intelligence Agency in "Vanished," a four'hour television movie that will begin production in Washington, D.C., on is was announced earlier that Richard Widitiark would play the President of the United States in the drama, which is based on Fletcher Knebel's novel about the disappearance of a top presi- dential aide. "Vanished" will be produced by Universal-TV for telecasting next March by NBC in two two-hour installments. . Universal is still trying to ob- tain Robert Young, who portrays Marcus Welby, 1i.D., on ABC-TV, to play the role of a conniving senator on "Vanished."
