BALTIMORE COUNCIL ON FOREIGN AFFAIRS
August 28, 2985
Mr. William J. Casey, Director
Central Intelligence Agency
Washington, DC 20505
Dear tdr. Casey,
On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Baltimore Council on
Foreign Affairs, I would like to cordially invite you to address
the members and guests of the Council.
I assure you that your audience here would be large, well informed,
and notable.
An address by you on American Intelligence would be a major contri-
bution to the discussion of foreign affairs in the Baltimore community;
and your presence here would add to the vitality of this organization.
We would be grateful for both.
In order to introduce this Council to you, I enclose our brochure
describing its purposes, leadership, and activities. It is supple-
mented by a list of our 1885 speakers.
If you find it possible to accept this invitation, we would be greatly
honored.
Sincerely,
Frank A. Burd
Executive Director
