As you know, The Heritage Foundation is heavily involved
in foreign policy and defense issues and has a number of on-
going projects in these areas. As a part of these activities,
we occasionally host dinner discussions with high-ranking
administration officials to discuss these current issues.
In addition to appropriate Heritage staff, we also invite a
select group from Capitol Hill and elsewhere to join these
discussions.
I would like to invite you to join us for such a discussion
on a mutually convenient date. Of course, the discussion would
be off-the-record and all participants would be so advised. I
know such a discussion would be useful from our point of view
and I hope you might find it beneficial as well.
6 FEB 1Q~9
I hope you will find this invitation of interest and that you
will be able to participate. My staff will be contacting your
office in the near future to see if we can arrange for your
participation.
