SUBJECT: Iran Estimate
Bob Gates has read the Iran Estimate and agrees with me that we
should proceed with Graham Fuller's paper as the basic document
drawing in the economic material from the Estimate and any other
material that would add to it. The Estimate probably contains too
much detail on the Iran-Iraq war. The policymakers are not worried
about the order of power and the forces at play at this stage.
