SUBJECT: PFIAB Report on Recruitment
1. I think this PFIAB report on recruiting needs more than a
brush-off answer than is proposed here. I agree that many of the
recommendations have been dealt with but I do think we should carefully
examine the idea of supplemental recruiting programs focussed on special
ethnic and occupational groups which start out with specific linguistic
or operational experience.
2. I think we ought to meet wit and see how he has
done and then get a larger meeting of the deputies and recruiters to
review the PFIAB report with specific attention to the item on page 5.
