1. The Office of Scientific and Weapons Research, in cooperation
with the Office of Central Reference, is sponsoring the appearance of
author Thomas Clancy. Mr. Clancy's novel,
been a best seller for several months and wilI"sooti be made into a
movie. He will discuss ways he found effective in writing The Hunt for
Red October and his forthcoming novel, Red Storm Rising, for presenting
complex technical matters to the lay reader.
All employees are invited to
