To reconf meeting, I have dec changes which - n the comments which I made at our staff ded to undertake certain organizational and I anticipated would be neces- sary if the Life Sciences effort became more clearly defined. These organizational changes become effective immediately. The position of Technical Manager/Life Sciences/ORD 25X1A9a in abolished. b. is appointed Chief/Biological Sciences Division 4RD. He will have direct superviso 25X1A9a responsibility for 25X1A9a be the secretaries in the Biological Sciences Division. c. The Biological Sciences Diviseion/ORD will be respon- sible for program areas as follows: Weapons Detection and Development and Animal Studies. In addition I would an- 25X1DOa tics ate that significant programs in 25X1D0a will fail within the Biological Sciences Division. 25X1A9a d. is appointed Chief/Medical and Behavioral Sciences Division/ORD. He will have direct 25X1A9a supervisory responsibility for 25X1A9a and wili be the secretary in the Medical and Behavioral Sciences Division. e. The Medical and Behavioral Sciences Division/ORD will be responsible for program areas as follows: Stress and Human Behavior. I would anticipate that significant programs in visual and audio analysis and operations re- search will fall within the Medical and Behavioral Sciences Division. 2. 1 recognize that in some instances there will be potential overlap as well an projects which will require sup- 25X1A9a of programs. port of both divisions.
