On behalf of the COMIREX, I wish to express my appreciation and gratitude
for the hospitality furnished to us during our visit to the Lowry TTC and
other facilities in the Denver area on 15 and 16 November 1983.
The briefings on imagery intelligence training and the Armed Forces Air
Intelligence Training Center (AFAITC) were informative and impressive. It
helped enforce the fact to our Committee members that in spite of the highly
technical nature of today's advanced intelligence collection systems they
cannot be fully effective without the continuing support of trained
intelligence personnel such as are provided to the Community from the
outstanding training programs at AFAITC.
I commend the services of 1st Lt. Calvin D. Stewart who served as project
officer. He ensured that our lodging and transportation needs were
satisfactory and timely. This enabled us to successfully accomplish our busy
schedule while in Denver. Please pass my appreciation to Lt. Stewart and all
of the officers and Airmen who supported our visit.
