Intelligence were very informative of the SAC mission with a focus on the role
of imagery today, and the challenges and resource impacts on future
operations. The knowledge gained will be very useful to us in our ongoing
deliberations-on-the-most effective use of national imagery systems in support
of the operational commander.
Please convey our appreciation to General Davis for hosting the Committee
and to all the fine officers and airmen who provided professional
presentations and support to our visit.
In particular, we all join in special commendation for the services of
Major Richard "Dick" Pruitt who did an outstanding job as project officer in
keeping our group organized and on schedule. He did well:
