Referent memorandum was forwarded to the DDO after consultation with you, the Office of Medical Services, and the Office of Logistics. Hopefully, this has satisfied the DDO concerns over the potential health hazard of the Remington Rand safe. I believe that what we need to do now is to make sure that all Agency employees are aware that these safes do not pose a serious health hazard. 2. In this regard, I would like for you to prepare an employee bulletin outlining the findings of Safety Staff and Office of Medical Services from the several reviews that have been conducted of the Remington Rand safe asbestos problem. Also, you should explain the replacement program that has been underway for several years and our plans to continue this effort.
