SUBJECT: Directorate of Operations (DO) Representative to the
Educational Aid Fund (EAF) Selection Committee
1. served as the DO representative to the EAF
STAT Selection Committee in-1984. As you are aware, recently retired
from the Agency.
2. This is to request that you nominate a DO officer to replace
STAT on the Selection Committee. The DO nominee will be officially
designated to serve on the Selection Committee at the EAF Board of Trustees
meeting which will be held early in February. The Selection Committee members
will begin reviewing applications in mid-February and complete their work in
mid-March.
3. I would appreciate it if you could forward to me the name of your
candidate by 25 January 1985.
