March 1, 1985
Although today is only March 1, 1985, the year is almost
over. That is, the automobile manufacturers' 1985 model
year.
For the 1985 fiscal year, through the GSAContract
ctaGS-
OOF-65293, we are pleased to be the supplier
Item No. 24, a fifteen passenger van/wagon. (a copy of
the specification sheet for this vehicle is enclosed).
The manufacturers have recently indicated to us that they
are starting to experience lengthened delivery schedules
for some of their models. Also, they are having several
component shortage problems.
Presently, I am happy to say, these problems are not
affecting the construction of Standard Item No. 24. The
situation, however, could change at any time. The nterest
in and demand for this vehicle by the Army, Navy, Air
and other governmental agencies has been significant. To
date, we have not encountered any major problems in supply-
ing our customers with the vehicles they need.
Please use the enclosed card and postage paid envelope to
give us an indication of how many Standard Item No. 24 van/
wagons you will need and when you will need them (use the
card also to let me know if you need additional copies of
the spec. sheet or the contract).
We want to supply you, on a 'timely basis, with all the
vehicles you will need to perform your mission.
Thank you for your interest in our services.
Sincerely,
~St i'hen M. Pju'a, 3r
