The Seminar is designed to be a small, off-the-record forum for candid exchanges of viev3' on Soviet interests and opportunities in Asia, looking at General Secretary Gorbachev's July 28th speech as a point of departure. Our discussions will include an assessment of likely Asian reactions to the Gorbachev initiative. The session will take place on the Eighth Floor of the Department of State.
